Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role involves working closely with clients to enhance their quality of life through personalized care plans, memory care, and home community care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure the confidentiality of client information.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed, including cooking nutritious meals.
- Lift and transfer clients safely while following proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Engage clients in social activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home health care or a similar caregiving role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of resident rights, memory care techniques, and home community care practices is a plus.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as necessary while maintaining their dignity and comfort.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations concerning patient privacy and confidentiality.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
