Position Summary
Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is an influential leader in our finance team who will help craft the vision for Zinpro’s FP&A function. The position will be critical as we establish our FP&A team as partners across the organization and develop effective tools and practices to integrate business analytics into our work to facilitate high impact, data-based business decisions. Work will center around leveraging financial insights and driving wise investment decisions as we facilitate the organization’s global business planning efforts. The FP & A Manager is responsible for supporting several key Zinpro business lines, optimizing “the way we work” through improving forecasting/budgeting systems and processes, and constantly striving to improve the quality, relevance, and timeliness of financial information. Success in this position requires strong leadership skills, including the ability to partner with senior management and commercial leaders. The FP & A Manager is based in Zinpro’s Corporate Headquarters in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Essential Functions
- FP&A Manager facilitates monthly and ad hoc meetings with Business Line and Department Leaders to review financial results and highlight insights and opportunities
- Partners with the sales team to ensure easy access to relevant sales information and support sales visibility into customer trends
- Coordinates Zinpro’s annual budget activities and guides the process through executive review and approval
- Leads business planning discussions and provides relevant financial context for key decision points
- Leverages modeling smarts & incorporating industry trends to expand forecasting and decision-making efforts
- Creates analyses to evaluate financial impacts of strategic initiatives
- Develops data driven analyses, dashboards and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics to identify relevant trends, potential risks and opportunities to optimize business operations
- Strategic report creation and preparation, including Board materials and other high-level communications
- Develops and maintains relationships across the organization for impactful workability and support.
- Member of Finance Leadership Team with commitment to shape Zinpro’s future and invest in Finance & Accounting team culture and team members.

Qualifications
Minimum Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (B.S.) or equivalent required
- 5 plus years’ professional Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively present financial information to management, business partners, and industry/customer groups
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VBA, pivot tables, lookups, filtering, etc.)
Preferred:
- Master’s degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- 8 plus years’ professional Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience, including management experience in a Finance or Accounting role
- Professional accounting or finance experience in a global manufacturing environment
