Compensation
The base salary listed is a range. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus, providing the opportunity to earn additional compensation.

Position Summary
The plant administrative assistant performs clerical, data entry tasks, and administrative duties in support of plant operations. This position is based in a Zinpro manufacturing plant.
Essential Functions
- Generates and posts shipping and receiving documents from SAP
- Processes purchase orders, vendor invoices, vendor files, credit applications and tax exempt certificates.
- Manages outgoing mail and small package shipments.
- Manages the packaging label printing and maintains label inventory.
- Greets visitors, ascertains nature of business and conducts visitors to employer or appropriate person. Answers the telephone and gives information to callers or routes calls to appropriate person.
- Processes transactions in AssetOptics and Esker to assist supervisors and management as directed.
- Ensures timely processing of invoices at month end and escalates to Office Manager if needed.
- Assist with event planning and coordinating company luncheons as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should possess:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 yrs experience including office administration, customer service, order processing, transportation, and shipping.
- Ability to interact with a variety of customers and effectively communicate with coworkers.
