Salary Range: $22.50 to $32.00 hourly
The base salary listed is a range. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus, providing the opportunity to earn additional compensation.

Position Summary
Reporting to the North Branch Lab Quality Supervisor, the Lab Technician is a key contributor to Zinpro’s success by ensuring quality product through production sample analysis. Success in this position requires the ability to follow processes, documentation, and measurements.
Essential Functions
- Perform requires lab analysis on finished products, raw materials and in process products, and process fluids as required.
- Ensure laboratory follows current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Documents all lab analysis performed and ensures needed lab documents and testing records are current/up to date, organized and available.
- Communicate quality results and any non-conformance found by analysis to management team.
- Enter all lab results in data bases and performs daily audits of both Colostrum and Minerals plants.
- Perform Quality Control approval (calibration, inspection, and testing) on product, instruments, and raw minerals.
- Perform Environment Monitoring (EMP) (sampling, plating, reading, entering/communicating results) in Colostrum plant.
- Perform root cause analysis when test results are out of specification.
- Perform other plant duties when needed, for which training has been completed.
- Prepare samples to be sent out to other labs for testing.
- Assist with correcting processes when not performed correctly.
- Attend daily shift meetings.
- Perform required housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
Minimum Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years’ experience in a laboratory environment.
- Aptitude for lab analysis.
- Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Ability to read and write technical documentation.
- Follows through on assigned tasks, works independently, and completes work on time.
- Follows instructions and management direction, displays a cooperative and positive behavior.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical documents.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel at the plant.

Schedule Requirements
The Lab Technician is expected to work Monday-Friday from 10:00am to 6:30pm. This is a 40-hour work week including occasional overtime.
Travel Requirements
This position will work primarily at their home manufacturing plant facility in North Branch, Minnesota and may engage in occasional company-sponsored travel.
