ABOUT THE E-COMMERCE ACCOUNT SPECIALIST ROLE :
The e-Commerce Account Specialist will report directly to the Director of Strategic Sales and will assist in the day to day sales operations. Candidate should be familiar with navigating through E-Commerce channels. This position will support and work with all areas of the specific account : inventory allocation, product additions, site maintenance and other daily tasks to help achieve company's sales goals. The focus of the sales team is to drive our business while providing account management for our customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist day-to-day online sales activities for retail accounts.
- Daily review the E-commerce listing health of assigned channels along with major competitors to make sure we are always in a leadership position.
- Maintain quality service by monitoring standards; advising supervisor of potential problems.
- Prepare and feed accurate inventory files to all channels daily.
- Act as the go-to internal contact for all product updates and maintenance requested for each channel.
- Analyze sales-related metrics including inventory, pricing and promotions.
- Identify new and emerging opportunities, trends, insights, as well as possible threats.
- Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information; responding to requests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Forecasting, Marketing, Purchasing and Operations to support all planned sales and promotions.
- Promote the continuous development and improvement of existing online strategies and marketing programs of the account.
- Assist the channel P&L, ensure budgeted sales and margin targets are reached or exceeded.
- Help develop new and creative strategies to grow our business within the channel.
- Other duties as assigned.
