About Us: Opening Summer 2025 Featuring 32 natural hot spring pools, 16 WorldSprings inspired pools, 3-barrel saunas, 3 cold dip pools, a large freshwater pool and whirlpool. Zion Canyon Hot Springs will be the premier hot springs facility in Southern Utah.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced food and beverage leader who will be responsible for overseeing both our restaurant and bar, ensuring high-quality service, while achieving maximum profitability. This position reports directly to the Assistant General Manager.
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee the daily operation of the entire F&B Department.
- Ensure the facility operates smoothly, efficiently, and in line with company standards.
- Represent the company with a positive and professional image.
- Complete all tasks or duties as they are assigned.
Guest Experience:
- Maintain a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs and mixologists to develop seasonal menus that highlight fresh, local ingredients and innovative culinary trends.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing food and beverage team, fostering a culture of professionalism and hospitality
- Lead by example and provide hands-on support during peak hours.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance the overall team member experience.
- Employee development through goal setting, accountability, discipline, coaching and annual reviews.
Financial & Administrative Duties:
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
- Control costs, and optimize revenue through innovative pricing, menu engineering, and inventory control.
- Perform and lead monthly inventories.
- Support revenue-generating initiatives, including events, promotions, and memberships.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and direction of the company through regular manager meetings, retreats, capital project planning and an eye for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- ServSafe Manager Certified or willing to complete course upon hire.
- Previous knowledge or experience working for a facility that serves liquor in Utah is a plus.
- Experience with restaurant and inventory management software is a plus.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Work independently without direct supervision. Ability to work well with all levels of management, executive leadership and support staff and employees.
- Proven team building and leadership skills.
- Ability to learn all systems and procedures and become the point person for troubleshooting problems.
- Mindset to always take the most effective role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be patient, poised and able to cope with special situations.
- Knowledge of facility maintenance and operational best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Some travel is required for retreats and training and development.
- Expected to be on call and available to assist in emergency situations.
Physical Requirements:
· Able to lift to 15 pounds.
· Able to bend, stretch, and twist.
· Able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
· Able to climb multiple flights of stairs on daily basis and walk frequently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
