Toddler Teacher Assistant
Zion Christian Early Learning Center is now hiring a dynamic and experienced Toddler Teacher Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Being physically active with the children
- Assist lead teacher as necessary with children aged 18 months to 3 years
- Interact with the student’s classroom teacher to create a supportive learning environment
- Implement lesson plans and daily schedules for the classroom with lead teacher
- Create and maintain a safe learning environment
- Assist with diaper changes and potty training
- Establish and maintain positive student-teacher relationships
- Communicate with parents
- Develop and maintain professional skills (e.g., teaching materials, webinars, trainings)
- Attend evening staff meetings as schedule
Qualifications:
Minimum of a CPL 2 or an associate degree or associate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or an additional two years of experience in a licensed childcare facility or preschool providing qualified early childhood teaching experience (or equivalent work experience) preferred.
Must pass a BCI/FBI
