Job Title: Grant Manager/Grants Specialist
Duration: Full-time/Long Term Contract With potential extension.
Location: Hughes County, SD; Pierre, SD 57501
Grant Manager, in partnership with the South Dakota Department of Health will oversee full implementation of specific federal grant or cooperative agreement(s) which includes;
- Ongoing support, communication and coordination with staff and contractors
- Provide supervision to other contracted positions within this work order
- Data collection and reporting
- Facilitate collaborative efforts among partners and stakeholders
- Provide technical assistance, training, and support
- Ensure project activities, objectives and outcomes are met on time and within budget
- Serve as liaison between Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the South Dakota Department of Health
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in health-related field (Public Health, Health Behavior, Health Education, Health Sciences)
- 5 years of experience in project and/or grants management
- Experience working with rural, tribal and minority populations preferred.
