Job Title: Safety Training Specialist (2 positions)
Location: Chicago IL On-Site
Duration: 12 Months Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Maintain certifications required to facilitate training.
- Work at various locations and during assigned weekdays and weekends.
- Multi-level professional communication between departments.
- Using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and various office applications.
- Utilize LMS -U Online to enter training data for each facilitated course.
- Complete paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Verify training records integrity and document progress of project.
CERTIFICATIONS/CREDENTIALS:
- The Full-Time Temporary Training Specialists will be required to have the following
- OSHA (501) Authorized Trainer for General Industry required.
- Experience facilitating various safety-related training required.
- Fall Protection Competent Trainer certification required.
- Permit-required Confined Space Trainer certification required.
- Strong training and facilitation skills required.
- Powered Industrial Truck Trainer certification preferred.
- Experience facilitating new hire safety orientation preferred.
- Strong computer software skills, including use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools preferred.
- Previous experience with LMS preferred.
