Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes and reduce costs.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure the best terms for the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, finance, and operations to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement in the supply chain.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and inventory status for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supplier management and procurement management within a manufacturing or retail environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of logistics processes and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
