What are the responsibilities and job description for the NDT Level II Inspector position at Zion Energy Services?
Zion Energy Services is looking for qualified Level II Inspectors / Assistants to join our team in both Texas and Oklahoma. We pride ourselves on our relations with our customers and the reassurance we provide a superior quality inspection of their products.
What We’re Looking for:
- Detail Oriented Individual (Disciplined Focus.)
- Minimal Math Skills. (Measurements / Quality Specific Referencing.)
- Maintaining Cleanliness of Workspace / Equipment / Personal Presentation.
- Able to withstand physically demanding work conditions. (Weather, Workload, Hours.)
- Ability to be on feet working 10-12 Hours at a time if needed. (Lifting, Pushing, Pulling, Bending.)
- Communication Skills with Customer and Coworkers / Ability to handle Constructive Criticism and Learn!
- Professionalism. (Client Relations is our most important asset. We are a Service Company and must always provide exceptional service above all else.)
- NDT Background preferred but will train the proper candidates with the desire to learn.
- Positive Morale. (Can Do Attitude!)
- Integrity Inspection. (No Cutting Corners!) We pride ourselves on our thoroughness.
- Team Player (Teamwork makes the Dream Work!!)
- Must have Reliable Transportation. (Level II Inspectors will be expected to have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.)
- Time Management and Punctuality. (On Call Scheduling as needed by Customer.)
Assistants will be trained under the watchful eye of our Inspectors and given the tools to become Certified Inspectors themselves. We will log your training hours to make sure you are ready and knowledgeable before sending you to class. Your Duties will include:
- Job Set Up / Departure. Daily Equipment Readings.
- Jobsite Cleanliness / Organization.
- Assisting Inspectors and learning Connection Types.
- Logging Inspection Hours in various Methods of NDT.
- Problem Solving. (Taking notes and asking questions.)
- Personal Presentation
- Any other duties required.
