Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team on full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, providing support in their daily activities, and ensuring their overall well-being.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide nurturing care for infants and young children, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Engage children in play and recreational activities that stimulate their physical, emotional, and social growth.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring that toys and materials are safe and suitable for use.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit readily available.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive team environment focused on the children's best interests.
Skills
- Proven experience in caregiving or babysitting roles, with a strong understanding of childcare principles.
- Knowledge of early childhood education practices is preferred.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
- Ability to educate children through engaging activities while promoting their development.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children in a classroom or daycare setting.
