Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention and management for clients in acute distress.
- Offer counseling services, including addiction counseling and motivational interviewing techniques.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to coordinate care for clients.
- Supervise and mentor interns or junior staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services, including Medicare and child welfare programs.
- Facilitate workshops or support groups focused on workforce development and behavioral health topics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
- Experience in childcare, behavioral health, crisis management, or addiction counseling is preferred.
- Strong skills in crisis intervention and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of community resources and social service programs is advantageous.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
