As the Entertainment and Technical Services Director, you will be responsible for curating and designing seamless wedding celebrations, ensuring that every technical and entertainment aspect aligns with the couple's desires.
- DJ & MC Leadership: Serve as the primary DJ and MC for wedding celebrations, commanding the room with confidence and keeping guests entertained.
- Design & Production of Weddings: Lead the design and execution of all-inclusive wedding entertainment, tailoring each event to the couple's wishes.
- Sound and Lighting: Program, operate, and maintain professional sound and lighting equipment, ensuring flawless execution throughout the celebration.
- Automation & Network Management: Oversee the operation of automation applications and associated hardware, optimizing commercial networks to support operations.
- Technical Oversight: Act as the Chief Technical Officer, overseeing the operation of data and applications used across the business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure the entertainment and technical aspects align with marketing strategies and client expectations.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Ensure all technical systems, equipment, and applications are properly maintained, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions as necessary.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a DJ and MC, with the ability to command a room and create an engaging atmosphere.
- Expertise in sound and lighting design and operation, with a strong understanding of professional audio/visual equipment.
- Experience managing and optimizing commercial networks and operating automation applications.
- Strong proficiency in managing business applications such as HubSpot, WordPress, SmartSheet, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional public speaking and crowd engagement skills to ensure smooth event flow and guest interaction.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
