Our client, a leader in the food & beverage industry, is looking for a Supply Chain Finance Analyst to dive into cost accounting, analytics, ERP maintenance, and financial reporting. You’ll play a key role in shaping financial strategies alongside supply chain and corporate finance teams, making a real impact on operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with operations and finance teams to develop the Annual Operating Plan and forecast for procurement, manufacturing, and distribution.
- Analyze financial performance and uncover ways to reduce operating costs.
- Investigate financial data trends and resolve problem areas.
- Lead month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Monitor and verify daily inventory transactions for raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintain standard costs, bills of materials (BOMs), and conduct product costings.
- Analyze packaging and ingredient obsolescence, as well as product cost transfers.
- Prepare detailed accountability, yield, and utilization reports.
- Track and report spend variances to leadership.
- Build strong relationships across multiple business units.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and operations reporting.
- Manage federal, state, and local financial filings.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business insights.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the food & beverage or manufacturing industry as an Accountant or Analyst
- Mindset: A naturally curious problem-solver who thrives on analyzing data and driving business improvements.
- Skills: Strong financial acumen with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Tech Savvy: Experience with SAP, AS/400 applications, and reporting tools is a plus.
- Excel Wizardry: Advanced Excel skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Drive: A self-starter who can juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Organization: Strong time management and deadline-driven approach.
