Risk Management Analyst - Strategic & Reputational Risk (Hybrid Schedule)

Join our Enterprise Risk Management team in a newly created role as a Risk Management Analyst with oversight of strategic and reputational risk. You will play a key role in our organization by identifying and mitigating key risks, collaborating with various departments, and driving impactful risk management initiatives.

Responsibilities:

·       Identify and assess key risks and controls related to strategic risk (the risk to current or anticipated earnings, franchise or enterprise value arising from strategic decisions and external forces) and reputational risk (the risk of material damage to the Bank’s reputation, resulting in a reduction of current or anticipated earnings, capital, franchise, or enterprise value).

·       Participate in risk and control assessments as a risk partner and subject matter expert.

·       Partner with Supply Chain Management to evaluate supplier relationships for applicable risks and effective controls.

·       Collaborate with the Project Management Office to evaluate new initiatives.

·       Offer effective review and challenge of risks and controls related to strategic and reputational risk.

·       Analyze, document, and communicate risks, controls, testing, and mitigating action plans.

·       Compile reporting metrics and data related to strategic and reputational risks.

·       Make recommendations, develop, and implement other reputational and strategic risk management initiatives.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

·       Requires a Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Math Economics or a related field and some audit, risk management, compliance, financial services or other directly related experience. 

·       A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications. 

·       Basic knowledge of risk and control assessment techniques and concepts, and accounting principles. 

·       Knowledge of various bank and government regulatory requirements. 

·       Must have good presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

·       Ability to effectively work on a team and with others in various leadership positions. 

·       Strong interpersonal, problem resolution, analytical and modeling skills. 

·       Knowledge of Microsoft applications and other database, analysis, and reporting tools. 

·       Project management skills helpful.
