About the Role
This Commercial Portfolio Manager position will involve:
- Underwriting and servicing commercial loan relationships with automobile and other dealers throughout the Intermountain region.
- Spreading and analyzing financial statements, addressing industry risks, collateral requirements, loan structuring and pricing, credit analysis, and monitoring credit performance.
- Handling reporting on loans, including past dues, documentation, and collateral exceptions, financial performance updates, portfolio profitability, etc.
- Providing exceptional customer service through clear communication skills, approachability, and working knowledge of all processes.
- Managing existing client relationships and collaborating with internal and external clients at a high level regarding sensitive matters and routine tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree and 4 years of credit-associated lending experience or 7 years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- Comprehensive understanding of commercial loan underwriting, credit analysis, spreading, and financial statement analysis.
- Deep knowledge of credit scoring, loan documentation, and risk assessment.
- Experience with bank loan and deposit systems, such as Credit Lead, Aviva, Tax Analysis, and Moody's.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, along with confidence in working with senior-level individuals.
- Advanced expertise with MS Office applications.
