Want a seat at our table? Ziosk is looking for a highly experienced Director of Project Management to lead our PM Team. This role is responsible for overseeing the management of new customer implementations, technology refreshes, and some internal projects. The ideal candidate needs to be a creative, organized, adaptable problem solver with experience leading a team of project managers.
The Main Course – Responsibilities
· Work in a dynamic environment managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring they are completed within scope and on time.
· Quickly gain strategic understanding of stakeholder needs, and business and technology objectives.
· Work with internal sales/client teams and engineering teams to align on project requirements and expectations.
· Drive the project/project delivery strategy through the consistent application of a project management framework, training, methodologies, metrics, assets, and tools.
· Establish measures of success and push the team to exceed expectations
· Maintain engagement with each project to facilitate quick internal escalations as needed, and handle customer escalations that arise.
· Work with Ziosk Dev and Engineering teams as needed to address any issues that arise during an implementation or other assigned project.
· Must be able to accommodate flexible hours including some mornings or evenings.
What You Bring to The Table – Qualifications
· 3 years’ experience leading a team that manages multiple projects simultaneously
· 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager, or Ops Excellence in Food & Beverages/Hospitality, SaaS environment, or Information Technology, etc
· Ideal candidate will also have restaurant industry knowledge (Point of Sale systems, Touchscreen devices, Order and Pay at the Table, Hand-held pay at the table devices, AP’s, Wi-Fi, etc.)
· Extensive knowledge of Project Management systems such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, NetSuite, Power BI, MS Project
· PMP, PgMP, Agile, or other formal project training
· Excellent & highly adaptable verbal and written communication skills
· Experience building efficient project plans with interlinked dependencies, and coaching a team on best practices and techniques for driving results
