Job Summary
Sales Representatives are a key component to the success of Zip Beverage and customer satisfaction.
The NA Sales representative's goal is to maximize selling potential, customer service, and account
relationships for Zip Beverage’s Non Alcoholic portfolio of brands. This individual is responsible for sales
volume, distribution, programming, and planning efforts for accounts within the assigned sales territory.
Individuals must identify business opportunities to promote company products and develop plans to
execute with their team members while maintaining Zip Beverages high level of customer satisfaction
Job Responsibilities
● Write accurate orders for retailers for specified sales route
● Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal guidelines, Wholesaler Equity Agreement,
and standards and policies from our suppliers
● Develop and maintain retailer account relationships
● Manage the collection of money for all invoices within Zip Beverages specified AR terms and
state law
● Respond, investigate and resolve retailer questions and concerns in a professional and timely
manner
● Maximize sales of Zip Beverages portfolio of brands by increasing distribution, shelf space,
displays, securing price points, draught taps, merchandising, etc.
● Ensure Zip Beverage products are fully stocked and properly rotated in all retail accounts
during account visits
● Maintain regular call frequency on all assigned retail accounts to meet sales obligations and
customer needs
● Ensure published freshness standards in all assigned retail accounts that are in line with
monthly Finish Product Loss (FPL) budget
● Sustain proper inventory levels at retail accounts to ensure there are no out-of-stock/over-
stock situations
● Work with all departments to resolve customer service issues (e.g. credit/collection, deliveries,
etc.)
● Communicate retailer pricing to key decision maker at each account and hang pricing signs /
tags where applicable
● Make daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history and reports
● Attend sales/team meetings as directed by management along with daily interaction with
manager to discuss sales issues, competitive activities, and opportunities to maximize sales
efforts
● Participate in evening and weekend promotions as necessary
● Know and use all elements of the structured sales process during account calls
● Review Sales rep monthly PFP and execute where applicable
● Perform instore shelf resets as required
● Utilize supplier provided Point of sale material in retail accounts where applicable
● Build supplier provided Point of sale material in warehouse and leave instructions for delivery
team to bring to account
● Leave specific execution instructions for delivery and merchandising team
● Hang supplier provided coupons on product where applicable
● Self-sufficient and ability to work independently
● Begin business days at designated start time
● Any other tasks deemed necessary by “NA Sales Manager” or other member of Zip
Management team
Qualifications
● Three years experience in consumer package industry sales preferred
● Familiarity with retail trade and space management activities
● High level of computer skills
● Sales/Key Account experience preferred
● High school diploma or GED certificate required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
● Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
● Highly self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple
tasks simultaneously, and be attentive to details
● Strong selling and negotiation skills
● Proficient in Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
● Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
● Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment and strong verbal
and written communication skills
● Able to understand and read invoices, load sheets, job orders, installation instructions and
calculate simple math functions
● Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs. as well as hang merchandise and be able to
fulfill other physical requirements including: Repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs overhead), bending,
pulling/pushing (Push/pull up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler
● Ability to perform all elements of the job
Schedule
● Monday through Friday 6:00 am until EOB
● Flexible hours outside of regular scheduled shift may be required time to time
Compensation:
● Salary Range: $45,000 -$48,000 per year between base salary and incentives
● This is a highly incentivized position that includes significant upside potential
