About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled PHP Web Developer to join our team and play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that support our organization’s objectives. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working with PHP, JavaScript, SQL, and LAMP stack technologies, with a strong understanding of scalable application development, user authentication, and database integration.
This role requires proactive problem-solving, strong technical acumen, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment to enhance user experience and ensure the security and efficiency of web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain websites and user interfaces using PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, Apache, Linux, and LAMP stack technologies.
- Ensure seamless website availability, security, and performance, including appropriate linking and content management.
- Design intuitive, responsive, and accessible web page layouts, including graphics, color schemes, and overall website infrastructure.
- Implement scalable user authentication and authorization across multiple systems.
- Integrate and manage third-party APIs for enhanced website functionality.
- Optimize database schemas to support complex business processes and improve performance.
- Monitor site traffic, user engagement, and system capacity, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging web technologies and security best practices to continuously improve the website experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure web solutions align with business needs and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in PHP development, with proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, Apache, and Linux.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies including AJAX, RESTful APIs, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Experience working with third-party APIs for integrations.
- Understanding of scalable application architecture and best practices for security.
- Ability to design, develop, and optimize database schemas to support business needs.
- Experience implementing user authentication and authorization mechanisms across multiple systems.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work in an agile development environment.
