ZPC Assistant Guide Responsibilities
· Ensures all course operations are conducted in accordance with ZPC standards.
· Assists the Lead Guide in supervising the progress of an assigned participant group.
· Conducts tours according to the performance and proficiencies found in the ZPC technical and educational manual.
· Assists in daily inspections of all course components and gear.
· Fits harnesses and helmets correctly, and supervises the use of all personal protective equipment.
· Assists in participant orientation sessions and pre-screening.
· Maintaining course and trail maintenance. Including shoveling and snow clearing.
· Effectively maintains a training log for all ongoing technical and educational training
· Interviews will be scheduled for mid-April. If invited to training, training is a week long. Dates are to be determined.
Certification Requirements
· Minimum age 18
· Current First Aid, CPR and AED certification
· Passes the written test with 80% or above
· Complete all rescues accurately in under 6 minutes each
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
