Description : POSITION SUMMARY :
The NRO Training Team Coach is responsible for leading the training team, coordinating the training sessions and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the training programs. This position reports to the Director of Education and Development and works closely with Operations to identify priority training needs. This position is also responsible for supporting training and operations initiatives at existing locations within their region. This includes oversight of the manager and team member development programs, MIT (manager-in-training) programs and the Certified Trainer Program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Models behaviors in alignment with the mission statement and core values of the company; acts upon them daily, provides a deeper understanding of the mission statement and Core Values to candidates, resource organizations, and team members.
- Manage the opening training process, ensuring brand standards are met and executed.
- Main point of contact for the FOH and BOH training teams, providing timely communication, effective tools and coaching needed.
- Work closely with the Director of Education and Development, Regional Director of Operations, Culinary Manager and General Manager to ensure all new team members are receiving the highest level of organized and accurate training.
- Collaborate with the Opening Trainers and the Management team to identify and certify trainers for our new store.
- Coordinates and assists with the training and implementation of new rollouts.
- Passionate and protective about the team member experience.
- Quickly adapts to the demands of the business.
- Ensures completion of all position training requirements and certifications.
- Supports the certification of Excellence Restaurants and Certified Trainer Programs in the region.
- Tracks MIT’s in region (Orientation-90 days post certification).
