POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Delivery Manager or Supervisor, this position is primarily responsible for loading and unloading products from delivery vehicle, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicle, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage
- Support the delivery operations by accompanying the driver on delivery routes, assisting in navigation and/or providing directions if needed
- Assist in maintaining accurate delivery records, reporting any discrepancies to immediate supervisor
- Adhere to all food and workplace safety guidelines and company policies
- Communicate with wholesale customers during deliveries if needed
- Performs physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving of heavy items
- May be able to assist with driving smaller loads as needed
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Other duties may include driving if needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Scheduling: 
- Available for work on Monday through Sunday 8:00pm – 6:00am. Schedule may vary
- Available to work on all holidays
Physical Ability: 
- Able to lift 50 to 65 pounds on a regular basis
- Able to push dollies loaded with products weighing up to 500 pounds on a regular basis
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
Mental Ability:
- Must be able to read and understand traffic laws and road signage
- Must be able to read and comprehend instructions written in English
- Basic math
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug-screening
- Must also have passed a TB test Dated/Issued within 12 months of date of hire OR Dated/Issued at the age of 16 or older.
- Must have a valid Hawaii Driver's License
- Clean Drivers Abstract
Environmental Conditions:
- Work to be performed both indoors and outdoors.
Education: 
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 
- Forklift and pallet jack experience desired but will train
- Prior loading experience preferred
Desired Skills: 
- Ability to communicate and follow directions
- Familiarity with island roads and towns desired
- Ability to comprehend detailed instructions
