What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketing Strategist Intern position at Zips Car Wash LLC?
The Digital Marketing Strategist Intern will be tasked with independent analysis and reporting, campaign planning, and optimizations across all digital channels (app, website, paid media, SMS, email, socials) This position will be a key part of a small and specialized marketing team that supports all digital channels across three brands. This role will provide excellent exposure to all facets of digital marketing and provide the intern with the opportunity to explore all channels and the strategy behind them for a national brand. Internship will last 10 weeks starting in May/June and ending in July/August depending on start date. Dress code is business casual. Compensation is $20/hr. This position will be a hybrid with in-office 3 days a week, but flexible on days; 8 hour work days (flexible start/end).

- Generate assigned weekly digital performance analyses across multiple channels
- Assist in creating and implementing optimization recommendations
- Arm marketing teams with the tools, data, and reporting needed to make decisions
- Partner closely with marketing leads to provide the analytical support that will help drive growth in consumer and service professional acquisition
- Work with team members to develop A/B test plans, inform and interpret test results leading to optimizations and future testing plans across paid media, social, email, SMS, and mor
- Provide support of campaign implementations across digital channels
- Own and lead analyses using data and insights to influence and support marketing strategy
- Build effective business relationships with coworkers, internal clients and vendors
- Develop an innovative campaign for fall with omnichannel implementation alongside Digital Marketing Manager
- Lead an industry comparative analysis of trends and competitors, and present findings to Digital Marketing Manager, Director of Brand, and CMO with support from Digital Marketing Manager

- Junior, Senior, or recently graduated Senior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in business/marketing, analytics, or other relevant degree
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorship available
- Related professional experience in marketing, analytics, digital media, advertising
- Strong project management, organization, self-sufficiency and prioritization skills
- Direct experience with online direct marketing or online media performance analysis is a plus
- Must have experience using digital marketing platforms and/or marketing analytics technology or be willing to learn it quickly
- Google PMAX and META ads experience a plus
- Email Marketing experience a plus including A/B testing
- Proven ability to take initiative, prioritize competing demands, meet short deadlines and deliver high quality work products
- Work to ensure that all data is presented clearly, simply, and intuitively
- Take initiative, think strategically, work well independently, and collaborate with teams
- Keep up to date on digital marketing trends
