Location (hybrid): Savage Maryland--must reside in the area and be willing to work in the Savage, MD corporate office when needed

About ZIPS: ZIPS Cleaners is a leading name in the dry cleaning industry, known for our innovative approach to delivering high-quality, affordable dry cleaning services. ZIPS started in 2002 as eight stores in the Baltimore-Washington DC area. We have since expanded to 70 stores across 11 states.
Summary of position: As a Marketing Team Designer, you will play a critical role in designing and producing creative assets for both digital and print campaigns. You’ll work closely with our lead designer and our marketing team to deliver visual solutions that engage, inspire, and drive action from our audience. Whether it's crafting eye-catching social media graphics, compelling website visuals, email graphics, flyers, print material and store mockup of signage your contributions will directly influence the success of our marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Production: Create high-quality visual designs for a variety of marketing channels, including email campaigns, social media posts, flyers, brochures, print collateral, and store signage.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with our brand guidelines and help strengthen the visual identity of the company.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the marketing, product, and content teams to understand campaign goals and translate them into visually appealing designs.
Campaign Assets: Design and optimize marketing materials for specific campaigns, including paid ads, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
User Experience Focus: Ensure all designs are user-friendly, visually engaging, and optimized for the best experience across different devices and platforms.
Creative Concepting: Contribute to brainstorming sessions and offer creative design solutions to support the marketing team’s goals.
Asset Management: Organize and maintain a design library for easy access to assets and templates for future use.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on marketing and brand design (agency or in-house experience is a plus).
Design Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign etc.) Canva, or other design tools.
Understanding of Marketing: Strong understanding of how design plays a role in digital marketing, from social media content to email marketing to print collateral.
Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and push boundaries while maintaining brand consistency.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to execute polished and professional designs under tight deadlines.
Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of marketing design projects (please include a link to your portfolio or attach samples of work).
