**Position: Treetop Zip Line Tour Guide**
Responsibility:
As a guide, you will lead tour groups through our exhilarating treetop zip line tour.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety while guiding guests through the tour.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure a memorable experience for all guests.
- Conduct daily course and equipment checks.
- Present fascinating information to guests, including local ecology, history, and biology.
- Organize gear and maintain storage areas.
- Adapt to work with groups of all ages and backgrounds.
- Collaborate as a productive team member with fellow coworkers.
Education/Know How:
- Demonstrated good character, integrity, and ability to adapt to an outdoor setting.
- Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
- High school graduate.
- Energetic, people-oriented, and customer service-focused.
- Fluent in English.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Family and kid-friendly attitude.
Physical & Mental Demands:
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Navigate the rough terrain of ZipZone Outdoor Adventures.
- Stand/move without sitting for extended periods (four to five hours).
- Handle emergency situations with ease.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Successful completion of guide training.
Schedule:
- Seasonal position (generally 15-50 hours/week).
- Flexible schedule with required weekend work.
- Seasons typically run from late March through November.
- Work shifts between 9 am - 7 pm.
- Mandatory 6-day training session in early May (possible early April start for exceptional candidates).
