Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and renovation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. The Painter will be responsible for delivering exceptional results while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics and project specifications to determine the appropriate materials and techniques needed.
- Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, sanding, and finishing tasks.
- Execute frame carpentry tasks as required for renovation projects.
- Perform caulking and stucco work to ensure proper sealing and finishing of surfaces.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting with a solid understanding of painting techniques and materials.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities.
- Experience in maintenance person tasks is preferred, including construction estimating skills for project planning.
- Ability to work with various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
