UNARMED SECURITY GUARD--PART-TIME ONLY

Unarmed Security for Regular and Seasonal Events

We are needing mature, responsible, and reliable part-time unarmed security guards for part-time work to cover security check points at events. An active Unarmed Guard License preferred with Dallas's Law Certifications attached. If you do not have a license or Dallas's Law certifications (Dallas's Law: CPR/AED/First Aid, De-Escalation Tactics, and Safe Restraint Techniques), our training facility can train you. All certifications are required before working begins, so training will need to be prompt.

Event responsibilities include bag checking, metal detectors, and wand scanners. These events are weekends only. Flexibility for getting scheduled to these events is needed as hours vary in relation to the type of event. No full-time hours available.

Reliable transportation (uber or car sharing is frowned upon) and active driver’s license is required.

You are required to always maintain a professional attitude with professional standards and appearance while on duty. Uniformed officers should report to duty on time, clean and well groomed, and dressed neatly in only the authorized/issued uniform and wear the uniform as issued at all times while on duty. Your appearance should be appropriate for the work environment. This includes hair, facial hair, jewelry, tattoos, body art, religious objects, etc.

Personal cell phone use is to be very limited and should not distract from duties. Being alert, vigilant, and caring about how others perceive you as an security guard is an important part of this job and the authority that comes with the position. Our clients and their patrons need to know we are there to help them and deter issues that could arise.
