Lead QA Automation Engineer

Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Long term contract

Certification (Preferred)

  • No specific certifications are required.
  • However, certifications like ISTQB, Certified Selenium Tester, or Agile certifications may be beneficial but are not mandatory.

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 yrs Required Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users.
  • 8 yrs RequiredStrong background in developing test suites in UFT or similar tool.
  • 8 yrs Required Skilled with Database query languages (SQL, PL / SQL)

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 yrs Preferred Skilled in developing Requirements Traceability Matrices.
  • 6 yrs Preferred Skilled in developing and executing Test Scripts
  • 6 yrs Preferred Skilled in developing Test Plans and coordinating User Acceptance Testing
  • 6 yrs Preferred Experience with general IT SDLC processes.
  • 4 yrs Preferred Experience using JIRA for managing project / sprint tasks.
  • 4 yrs Preferred Working in a Agile SDLC environment
  • 4 yrs Preferred Experience using Jira to track work assignments.
  • 1 yrs Preferred Experience working on projects utilizing agile project management methodologies.

    • Specific skill set required

  • Test Automation Expertise UFT or similar tool.
  • Database Querying SQL, PL / SQL.
  • Requirement Analysis Requirements Traceability Matrices.
  • Test Case Development & Execution Functional and non-functional testing.
  • Defect Management & UAT Coordination.
  • JIRA for Sprint / Project Management.
  • Agile SDLC Process Experience.
