Job Summary
Zirrus is seeking a proactive and dynamic Neighborhood Engagement Specialist to generate interest in our fiber internet services within targeted expansion areas. This role involves engaging directly with residents through door-to-door activities and cold calling, identifying local advocates, and developing innovative strategies to increase awareness and enthusiasm for our high-speed internet solutions.
Essential Job Functions
Direct Engagement :
Conduct door-to-door visits to inform residents about the benefits of Zirrus fiber internet.
Make cold calls to prospective customers within targeted neighborhoods to generate interest and gather contact information.
Answer questions and address concerns from potential customers to facilitate understanding and interest.
Community Involvement :
Identify and collaborate with neighborhood advocates who can help promote Zirrus fiber internet within their communities.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and community leaders.
Strategic Planning :
Create and implement innovative strategies to engage homeowners and increase awareness of Zirrus fiber internet.
Analyze feedback from residents to continuously improve engagement tactics.
Event Coordination :
Organize and participate in community events to promote Zirrus services.
Prepare and distribute promotional materials to increase visibility and interest.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and build rapport with a diverse range of individuals.
Strong organizational and planning abilities.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Ability to work in all types of weather and environments, indoors or outdoors and handle physical demands such as extensive walking in all varieties of terrain.
Ability to operate a laptop and a tablet with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to drive a company vehicle and possess Valid NC Driver License
Associate / Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
3 years of Sales experience in a service industry managing a quota
