Retail Sales Supervisor
Provide oversight and assist with various aspects of daily retail sales and operations by providing training, coaching, and guidance to employees, coordinating store activities including the scheduling of employees’ work hours, initiating internal and external sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction in alignment with sales goals.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead by example in adhering to the Guiding Principles for the sales organization and in displaying the Core Characteristics for sales
- Assist with developing innovative ideas, campaigns, and community activities inside and outside the store that increases retail sales, store traffic, activity, and optimize profitability
- Responsible for the attainment of the store’s sales goals through assisting and supporting the team in reaching the goals and in direct selling themselves
- Develop a plan for training, coaching, and motivation that aligns with retail store sales goals
- Educate team on changes with products, services, technology, special promotions, etc.
- Responsible for sustaining high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service and by ensuring all staff are implementing the How to Deliver the Zirrus Experience sales process
- Responsible for recognizing and resolving challenging customer situations to a mutually beneficial outcome
- Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain the condition of the store: outstanding appearance/condition, visual merchandising standards, environment, inventory, etc.
- Recognize and report on buying trends and customer needs through interactions with visitors to the store.
- Responsible for selection, talent management and training
- Conduct employee performance appraisals to assess knowledge, learning, development, and coaching opportunities
- Effectively and efficiently schedule employees to ensure adequate store coverage
- Deal with all issues that are escalated or may arise from staff or customers
- Requires NC Alarm Systems Licensing Board registration, this registration process includes an extensive background check, fingerprinting, and application process.

Education and Experience
- High School diploma, required
- BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field, preferred
- Three plus years of proven experience as a retail supervisor or comparable sales role, preferred
