This position is for a skilled Mid-Level Software Developer to support a product team in Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL.
Education Required
- Career level typically with an advanced degree and 3 years experience or bachelors with 5 years experience or equivalent;
- Wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in their field and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with imaginative and thorough solutions;
- Works under general direction, and results are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives;
- Failure to achieve results normally results in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources;
- Frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
- Should have taken several computer science courses, including Java and/or C , and courses like Data Structures, Algorithms, Computer Security, and/or Operating Systems
- Candidates should have taken college level Calculus and Physics
- Experience with Java or C software development; or Software Testing; or Software Integration
- Experience with using, developing SW, and creating scripts on Linux strongly desired
- Previous internship as a software engineer intern preferred
- Candidates must be able to acquire a final Secret clearance prior to start date
- Experience with Eclipse, git, Jenkins, maven, Jira, Confluence highly desired
- Secret Clearance Required to Start

Salary : $100,000 - $122,000
