What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer / Technician position at ZL Chemicals LTD?
Key Responsibilities:
· Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair equipment in our field units, including:
o Flow meters
o Pressure transducers
o Level & rotating sensors
o Electric motors, pumps & augers
o Data acquisition systems
o Establish and conduct preventative maintenance schedules and keep records of them
o Stay up to date on new technical trends and advancements
o Equipment testing when in warehouse
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in similar capacity in the oil and gas industry or a similar industrial setting.
· Ability to disassemble or repair motors, pumps, sensors, etc.
· Strong understanding of electronic principles, circuits, and systems.
· Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic equipment using diagnostic tools and techniques.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
· Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different job sites. Estimated field travel is around 60% of the time.
· Ability to pass the company's drug and alcohol test.
