Scheduled hours: 5/8 hour shifts with average 40 - 60 hours per week
Rate of pay - up to $40/hr
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for: maintaining Welding records.ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous testing and inspection processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and quality management systems, as well as experience with various measurement tools and techniques.
Duties
- Conduct quality inspections of all welds & mechanical projects
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements.
- All Material Certification.
- Perform quality audits to assess adherence to ISO 9001 standards and internal quality management protocols.
- Responsible for all NDE (non-destructive examination) requirements
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and assist in the fabrication of solutions to enhance product quality.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits for traceability and compliance purposes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing overall product quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance roles within setting.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines.
- Application of inspection quality plans
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
