Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Custodian to perform cleaning and maintenance duties across our Bruceton and Milan footprint. The Facilities Custodian will be responsible for ensuring that offices, bathrooms, common areas, and warehouses are clean, organized, and well-maintained at our Bruceton and Milan locations. This role requires an individual who can work independently, proactively identify areas needing attention, and maintain high standards of cleanliness with minimal supervision.

Bruceton & Milan, TN
Monday - Friday
Work schedule for this position may vary from week to week based on business demands
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of offices, restrooms, common areas, and warehouses.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in offices and warehouses in designated areas.
- Crush cardboard using a baler.
- Operate a floor scrubber and battery-operated sweeper to maintain clean floors in the warehouse.
- Restock restroom and common area supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in warehouse areas when time permits.
- Identify and address areas needing extra attention or deep cleaning.
- Report maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.Follow all safety and cleaning protocols to ensure a sanitary environment
Requirements:
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment, including a floor scrubber, battery-operated sweeper, and cardboard crusher.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proactively identify cleaning needs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation for travel between Bruceton and Milan locations.
- Must wear a safety vest while cleaning the warehouse areas
- Physical capability to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and operate cleaning equipment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong attendance record
