Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers and excavators on construction sites.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols while operating equipment in various conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents that occur on site.
- Assist in training new operators in safe equipment operation practices as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with heavy equipment operation, including lifting and maneuvering loads.
