Basic Purpose
The Business Analyst will work with all members of the Sales Tech team to implement and support projects and systems for all Distribution personnel. The primary focus of this position is the administration, enhancement, support and integration of Sales and CRM systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Performing detailed business and data analysis
- Documenting business and functional requirements
- Developing end user documentation
- Writing and executing test plans and cases
- Answering user questions
- Resolving system issues / problems in a timely manner
- Data Analysis and Data Mapping The individual must be motivated, well organized, be sensitive to project and production deadlines, have a quick learning ability and be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
They should have a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and to handle multiple assignments and tasks over a given time period
Primary Responsibilities :
Work closely with other members of the team to perform Data analysis, solutions design, testing, and release management across multiple systemsAssist team members in evaluating and implementing vendor tools and processes.Ability to work with non-technical end users to interpret and document user requirements and develop functional specificationsParticipate in meetings with technical groups to ensure that all design questions (e.g., application security, data feeds , etc.) are addressed through the business analysis processEnsure the timely and accurate processing of internal client requests. This includes maintaining standard Application support documentation and supporting the global production response teamServe as subject matter expert process , and / or operational proxy for end users in targeted areas of focusManage operationally focused projects (e.g., non-political, data / workflow oriented)Participate in other Sales Tech support responsibilities as assignedDevelop and execute test plans and test casesJob Requirements :
Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
Knowledge of software development and the system implementation life cycleKnowledge of Client-server, database, System Design, Data modeling and technical architecture conceptsStrong Data query and analysis abilities and experienceExperience with Data mapping, Data conversion, Data integrationKnowledge or experience with Snowflake Data Platform; for Client Data Platform preferredKnowledge or experience with Salesforce CRM SystemStrong problem identification and problem solving skills; ability to propose solutions5-7 years demonstrated experience with writing business user requirements and functional specificationsExperience with Distribution / Sales systems preferredFinancial Services industry knowledge preferredKnowledge of Tableau preferredKnowledge of Business Intelligence Tools a plusKnowledge of JIRA agile development software preferredBachelor's degree or equivalent business experience (computer science degree preferred)
