Plant Manager for Automated Manufacturing
The ZNDUS East division is looking for a Plant Manager. Reporting to the Director of Operations this individual will be responsible for the oversight of all plant machinery, building maintenance and all personnel related to manufacturing and Shipping and Receiving. Critical areas of focus will include learning the machinery and the manufacturing process, overseeing daily plant operations and maintenance.
This individual will be successful if s/he has built an engaged and productive workforce, and is running a clean, efficient, and safe operation, keeping downtime to an absolute minimum. Success will include meeting production and volume goals, outperforming KPIs, development of team members and building positive culture.
A successful candidate will be required to:
- Oversee maintenance, production teams and logistics teams.
- Ensure all machinery runs at an optimum level with focus on PM’s and critical spare supplies
- Oversee inventory management
o Planning production
o Supply cycle counts
- Provide production facility leadership including Promote and develop robust manufacturing processes for operations personnel
o Motivate, lead, and empower hourly workers to excel
o Manage plant maintenance, plant productivity, and shipping and receiving
o Understand operational equipment and any potential issues
o Plan and schedule multiple production lines
o Review production schedules to ensure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible
o Manage spending to an agreed upon level
o Manage daily labor efficiency to meet KPI targets
- Implement, enforce, and continuously improve processes and procedures, ensuring the highest production quality.
o Assist in developing policies and procedures for the facility in alignment with Human Resources.
o Make decisions/recommendations that drive improvements in the business
o Drive alignment of standardized processes
o Ensure the deployments and tracking of both operator and maintenance PM to improve uptime
- Develop CAPEX plans, and ensure implementation is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
o Manage all capital investments and subsequent equipment installation related to production and facilities.
- Build productive working relationships with Senior Leaders.
- Tracking and reporting KPI’s weekly and monthly in a operation review with Director of Operations.

All candidates must have exceptional leadership, strong customer service, talent development and process/technology skills.
Education/Experience Requirements
- BS in Engineering required.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience with roll-up-the-sleeves mentality
- High volume production experience required in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record building and managing a high-performance team

Compensation
Compensation will be market-based and competitive; it will include a base salary plus a performance-based incentive bonus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
