We’re seeking a dynamic, results-driven Vice President of Operations to lead and scale operational excellence across our growing QSR brand.
This executive role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, driving profitability, maintaining brand standards, and supporting long-term strategic growth across all locations!
This senior leadership role is crucial for overseeing daily operations, enhancing business processes, and ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operations management, project management, and team development, with a proven ability to lead teams and hands on training.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Lead all aspects of multi-unit restaurant operations across corporate and/or franchised locations. Set and enforce SOPs, labor strategies, cost control measures, and guest service benchmarks.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of Regional Directors, Area Managers, and General Managers. Foster a performance-driven culture.
- P&L Accountability: Own financial performance across all units. Develop and manage budgets, analyze KPIs, and implement corrective actions to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Guest Experience & Brand Standards: Uphold the highest standards of food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and hospitality. Drive mystery shop and guest satisfaction scores.
- Expansion & Growth: Partner with the executive team on market expansion, new store openings, and remodels. Ensure operational readiness and scalability of systems and processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, HR, and culinary to ensure alignment of business goals and seamless execution.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure full compliance with health, safety, labor, and food handling regulations across all locations.
Skills
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams at all levels.
- Strong experience in senior leadership roles within operations management.
- Expertise in strategic planning, with a focus on aligning operational practices with business objectives.
- Demonstrated success in business development initiatives that drive revenue growth.
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in QSR, fast casual, or restaurant operations, including at least 5 years in a multi-unit executive role.
- Proven success in scaling operations, managing budgets, and leading high-performance teams.
- Deep understanding of restaurant P&Ls, labor management, inventory systems, and guest metrics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a hands-on, “lead by example” style.
- Experience with franchised systems and/or leading corporate operations preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field (MBA a plus).
