What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer L2 position at Zobility?
Responsibilities:
- Design feasibility, cost analysis, strength calculations, part construction, part specification, scheduling and coordinating activities involved in prototyping, fabricating, and manufacturing of assigned systems.
- V5 & V6 experience preferred
Requirements:
- All the skills and abilities of Engineer L1.
- Additionally, must be proficient in technical writing and possess computer skills for scientific and technical applications.
- Must be able to proficiently handle multiple projects and develop analytical procedures.
- Work with suppliers to assure parts/services are requested appropriately, evaluate technical proposals, and write technical reports.
- Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
- Ability to report research and test results in various technical formats.
- Able to work with a team or on an individual basis to reach project goals.
- Valid Ohio driver's license required.
- Five years of engineering experience making 3D designs and 2D drawings of automotive electrical components from initial concept through mass production.
- Such components may include vision systems and radar, sensors for safety systems and related control units with mounting brackets.
Education:
- BS or MS in engineering
