Job Summary:
- This Senior Project Engineer position will drive Integrated Product Development Team efforts in developing and delivering environmental and life support systems as well as active thermal control systems for various value streams.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will execute engineering responsibilities on the program while meeting internal and external customer expectations through direct communication, including daily tag-ups, weekly meetings, and quarterly reviews.
- Manage planning, execution, and tracking/reporting of technical aspects of engineering projects, leading cross-functional teams and acting as key interface between program management and engineering.
- Perform control account manager duties, understanding Earned Value analysis of cost and schedule metrics.
- Coordinate team meetings, capture action item closures, and provide updates to management and leadership.
- Evaluate technical and programmatic tasks, manage scope and tasks across the engineering team, and effectively operate within a matrix environment.
- Serve as technical point of contact for business aspects, supporting preventive and corrective action planning, failure investigation activities, and issue resolution closures.
- Develop basis of estimates (BOE) and lead proposal activities.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience required.
