Duties
- Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment
- Assemble instrument trays and surgical kits accurately
- Perform quality checks on sterilization equipment
- Maintain accurate records of processed items
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies
Skills
- Proficient in inventory management related to medical supplies
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
- Understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Experience in sterile processing within a healthcare setting
