Job Description:
Seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for MedSurg / Telemetry and Oncology positions in our 4400 Nursing Oncology Wing. This is a travel contract position with a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), offering guaranteed 36 hours per week for a 13-week period. Free parking is available for easy access to the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in MedSurg / Telemetry and Oncology units.
• Float to similar units as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver safe and effective care.
• Provide support in critical care areas such as ICU or ED, assisting with Med/Surg-level patient care.
• Must maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures, including floating when needed to other areas of the hospital.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience, with a focus on MedSurg/Telemetry, Palliative Care, and Oncology.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Chemotherapy Fundamentals and Immunotherapy Administration Certification.
• Epic experience required.
• Ability to float to like units (ICU or ED for Med/Surg-level patients).
• Must be able to practice within scope of practice and provide assistance in critical care settings when necessary.

• Must be a traveler (no locals).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
