Job Title: Medical Office RN
Location: Jamaica Plain, MA

Contract: 13 weeks with extension
Shift: 8A to 5P (Mon-Fri)
Position Summary:
As a Medical Office RN, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care. You will work closely with physicians, healthcare providers, and clinical support staff to deliver exceptional care. This role involves performing clinical, technical, and clerical duties to support patient care in various healthcare settings. You will provide direct care and triage services, ensuring that our patients receive the best treatment possible while working collaboratively to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Patient Triage & Assessment: Perform telephone triage, assess patient needs, and provide guidance based on clinical judgment.
- Patient Care: Administer immunizations and allergy injections, perform blood draws, and record vital statistics (height, weight, blood pressure) in patient charts.
- Assist with Procedures: Support physicians with minor procedures and assist with patient care needs during exams.
- Medical Record Management: Enter prescription refill information accurately through the electronic medical record.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Work in collaboration with physicians, healthcare providers, and other team members to coordinate patient care and provide continuity of care.
- Health Education & Counseling: Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, preventive measures, and health maintenance.
- Care Delivery: Provide essential physical care (ADLs, positioning, transporting) and monitor patients for acute changes, administering medications and treatments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in MA.
- 1 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in a medical office or primary care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
