Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Provide catheter care and assist with mobility by lifting or transferring patients as needed.
- Support patients in urgent care or ICU settings by providing comfort and assistance during their recovery process.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding patient needs and changes in condition.
- Document patient care accurately in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or medical office settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology and basic medical terminology is advantageous.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility challenges.
- Strong patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care.
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or urgent care environment is a plus.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a relevant training program is required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
