Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our Ultrasound Department. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, performing diagnostic imaging procedures that are vital for patient care. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining equipment and facilities according to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, recording and reporting patient test results accurately.
• Monitor and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, alerting physicians to any abnormalities or changes in patient responses.
• Maintain adequate supplies and verify that all ultrasound equipment is in proper working condition. Report any deficiencies or failures.
• Accurately position patients and select the correct anatomic and technical parameters for imaging.
• Ensure all procedures are compliant with regulatory agency standards and departmental policies.
• Submit high-quality images and documentation to the PACS system, ensuring correct lead markers and accurate patient data/history.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized environment within the ultrasound department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment, imaging techniques, and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with patients to ensure their comfort.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
