- Shift- Monday to Friday 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM
- Duration- 13 Weeks
Requirements-
High school diploma or equivalent coupled with 3 months relevant experience and/or training.
Relevant experience and/or aptitude should include:
- Loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency and/or a demonstrated technical aptitude to learn; preferred technical skills to include but not limited to MS-Office products, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21.
- Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals); ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated to accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
- Demonstration of attention to detail and is safety minded.
Responsibilities-
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming products, goods, tools, and equipment.
- Verify shipments for accuracy, checking for damage and discrepancies.
- Accurately sort, label, and store items on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, style, or product codes.
- Maintain organized storage areas to optimize space utilization.
- Issue products, goods, tools, or equipment to employees while maintaining accurate records of issued and returned items.
- Enter and update stock records in a computerized inventory system, ensuring accuracy and responding to inquiries regarding inventory levels or delivery schedules.
- Document discrepancies and collaborate with management to resolve issues.
- Request requisitions to replenish inventory as needed.
- Perform regular cycle counts and prepare inventory reports to assist in maintaining stock levels.
- Inspect and measure tools or equipment for wear and defects, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a perpetual inventory of supplies and equipment, preparing periodic inventory reports.
- Deliver tools or equipment to employee work locations as required.
- Investigate and locate misplaced or lost equipment or supplies.
- Perform basic maintenance, repairs, and lubrication of tools and equipment when needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
