Job Description:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, post-anesthesia recovery environment. You’ll work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients recover safely and comfortably after surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any medical emergencies
- Administer medications as needed
- Document patient progress and report any concerns
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Required Qualifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous PACU experience preferred
Shifts/Hours:
- Varying shifts
- 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
- 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Compensation and Benefits:
- Weekly OT after 40 hours
- Full-time guaranteed hours (40 hours per week)
- Opportunity for travel nursing
