Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. Duties
- Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized care plans for patients.
- Conduct therapy sessions focused on improving patients' daily living skills and overall functionality.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises and techniques.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions, adhering to all safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to occupational therapy practices.
- Experience in acute care settings, skilled nursing facilities, or home health environments is preferred.
- Ability to assist with the development and implementation of effective care plans.
