Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Need - 2 years of skilled home health experience.
BLS Certified
Locals preferred in 50-75 miles.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct patient assessments and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing.
- Provide care for patients in various settings, including ICU and toddler care environments.
- Maintain accurate patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with lifting and transferring patients as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a medical office or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with specimen collection processing and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
